When we founded Fresh Clean Tees, sustainability wasn’t built into our business plan. Our primary focus was getting our concept off the ground. Over the years, through hard work and good fortune, our wild idea grew into a notable clothing brand. We're still based in gorgeous San Diego, which allows our family and employees to enjoy the ocean’s beauty and bounty. Now, it's time for Fresh Clean Tees to start giving back in a big way.

For us to be the clothing brand we want to be, Fresh Clean Tees needs to be part of the solution instead of the problem — and it’s a big problem. The fashion industry is one of the world’s largest polluters, and it doesn’t help that global clothing production has doubled since 2000.

MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING

As we work towards a more sustainable future, we are partnering with factories that are on board with innovating our products and manufacturing practices towards this promise. Not only are we moving the needle to certify our materials for traceability, every factory in our supply chain is certified with Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) guaranteeing that the work environment is socially and ethically responsible.

REDUCING PLASTIC WASTE

We have transitioned to 100% recyclable packaging and eliminated all single-use plastic elements.

ANALYZING AND COMMUNICATING

We continually explore our company’s environmental impact with in-depth analysis to fully understand the results of our actions. As our eco-friendly practices evolve, we share our learned insights with partners to support common sustainability goals.

WHAT OUR FUTURE LOOKS LIKE

At Fresh Clean Tees, we're always refining our approach to long-term sustainability. Below are just a few endeavors we're currently working toward.

RAW MATERIALS: We are working to replace all of our clothing’s synthetics with organic and sustainable fabrics by 2025.

$250,000 PLEDGE: We will collaborate with our nonprofit partners to ensure that we’re sending a minimum of $250k to ocean protection efforts each year.
SUSTAINABILITY BENCHMARK: We will establish eco-friendly targets and report to an impartial third party to hold ourselves accountable.
AWARENESS OUTREACH: We will use our brand’s reach to educate and encourage our customers and partners in regard to sustainable practices.
ECO FRIENDLY SUPPLY CHAIN: We will continue to make supply chain decisions with the environment as a focal point instead of simply looking for the lowest cost solution.
